Ronald R. Elwell Sr.

Ronald was born in Lynn to the late Dorothy (Montgomery) Whittemore and Ralph O. Elwell. Since retiring from the G.E. in Lynn, as a sheet metal worker, he enjoyed spending his summers with his grandchildren, family and friends in Acton, Maine.

Ron is survived by his children Kelli Monbleau, son-in-law Jim, Ronald R. Elwell, Jr., Lysa Elwell, Kenny Elwell and his former wife and friend Sarah Elwell. He was the brother of William J. Elwell and his late wife Marcia, Donna Whittemore-Farris and her late husband Everett and the late Beverly Norfolk. He was the loving grandfather of Madison and Michael Monbleau and Ronald III and Tyler Elwell. Ron is predeceased by his daughters Rhonda and Barbara Jean (Bobbi Jo) Elwell, his first wife Lorraine Wiswall, and his favorite uncle, Lester Montgomery. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Ron especially enjoyed the company of his niece Debra Sumner and Beverly Love who he spent time with for the last couple of years in Acton, Maine.

His Funeral Service will be held at the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 7:00PM. Visitation prior to the service beginning at 3:00PM Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
