
Mrs. Rose F. Henderson, of Lynn, age 89 years, died Friday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late L. James (Jim) Henderson with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.
Born in Montague she was the daughter of the late Frank X. and Helen (Dwyer) Dumond. She attended schools in Maine and graduated from Greenville Consolidated High School, Class of 1945. She was employed as an assembler and worked in Maine and Massachusetts for Wein Manufacturing until she retired in 1978. Rose was a caring and compassionate person, who loved spending time with and getting to know many people. A special thanks to her doctors, nurses and rescue workers.
She is survived by one sister Sr. Mary E. Dumond, CP of Riverside, RI, a sister-in-law, Maria Dumond of Las Vegas, close friend Sr. Mary Jane Holden of Riverside, RI, her special friends on the 8th floor of St. Stephen’s Tower, a niece, several nephews and one cousin. She was also the sister of the late Katherine Cunningham, Paul F. and Kenneth J. Dumond.
