LYNN - Samuel "Sam, Buddy, UB" Alfred Gerrior, Jr., entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2021; he was 56 years young. Sam was the dearest son of the late Samuel A. and Mary F. Gerrior; the devoted father of Thomas and Angelo Gerrior the loving grandfather of Hailee and Jordynne Gerrior; the cherished brother of Lawrence (Mary) Marzec-Gerrior of Vermont, Simone (David) Grossman of New Hampshire, Marguerite (Don) Griffin of Connecticut, nieces and nephews, Amie, Sarah, Brian, Abbey and Joshua and the adored partner of Cheryl McKernan.
Buddy grew up in Lynn, graduated from Lynn English High School and East Coast Aero Technical School. he raised his family in Lynn, MA. Buddy was a heavy equipment operator, at one time he worked as a sub-contractor removing snow from Logan International Airport. Buddy loved saying he was paid to “pick things up and put them down”.
If you had the privilege of knowing Buddy/Sam he was a devoted father, loving brother and loyal friend. If you needed anything, he was always there to lend a hand or an ear. Above all else, Buddy valued his time spent with family and friends.
When you think of Sam, raise a glass of Bacardi n’ Coke and make a toast, "Sláinte or Mahabba."
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, graveside burial services will be held in late Spring.
