

Mrs. Virginia M. (Schultz) Robertson, 90 of Lynn died Tuesday in Peabody Glenn Nursing Home with her family at her side. She was the wife of the late Howard L. Robertson, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
Virginia was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Paul F.J. and Florence F. (Skerry) Schultz. She was a lifelong resident of the City and was a graduate of Lynn English High School.
She worked at the General Electric Company Ford St., Allerton St., West Lynn and the River Works as an Assembler for 40 years retiring in 1986.
She and her late husband enjoyed wintering in Daytona Beach, FL. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 507 VFW. Virginia enjoyed bowling, ice skating and crocheting. Her true devotion was the time she spent with her family and her Wednesday evening dinners with her grandson Richie.
She is survived by her four sons Frederick P. Robertson and his wife Judy of Lynn, Howard L. Robertson, Jr. and his wife Linda of Winthrop, George R. Robertson and his wife Barbara of Stoneham and Richard J. Robertson and his wife Eileen of Lynn. Her two sisters Doris Brady and Irene Warner both of Lynn. Her 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was looking forward to another great grandchild and great great grandchild.
She was the grandmother of the late Robert Robertson and her late devoted friend for many years Richard M. “Dick” Cordes. She was the sister of the late Paul, Carl and Frederick Schultz and Mildred Madden.
Virginia’s Funeral Service will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Friday from 3-7 PM. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Peabody Glenn Residence Activities Fund, 199 Andover St. Peabody, MA 01960. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
