

Allen E. Kelly (known to all his friends as “Kelly”) was born April 24, 1934, in Oakland, California, to Burrell and Evelyn Kelly. He married Gloria Jordan in 1953 and they had five children; they later divorced but remained friends until Gloria’s death in 2009. Kelly married Leanne Wood in 1977 and they began their lifetime adventure. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and an uncle to many. Kelly‘s sense of humor brightened the room clear up to the day of his passing. He was very witty, and he evoked a smile from everyone he crossed paths with. He loved playing the slot machines, watching western movies and fishing. Kelly was always someone you could count on. He lived life to its fullest and made every day the best. Kelly was a proud Navy veteran who served in the Korean War. He joined the National Guard in 1950, served for two years then enlisted in the Navy in 1952 serving our country until 1955. After his honorable discharge Kelly began driving trucks and did that for most of his working career. In the early 60’s Kelly was the owner of C-K SAV-MOR gas station in Edmonds, Washington.
Kelly died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the age of 84 with his beloved wife Leanne at his side and surrounded by his loved ones.
He leaves behind his wife of 42 years Leanne; daughters, Cheri Kelly and Donna Mohs, son Mark, brother David Blodgett; and many other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Donald and Jeannie; daughters Debra Cook and Linda Cronin and granddaughter Jamie Whittaker.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday February 2, 2019 at Purdy & Walters Floral Hill, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Reception following.
