Born May 28, 1929, in Havre, MT, to Bill and Georgia (LaSalle) Felton, she was raised with her 3 sisters, Peg, Lila, and Bea, on the family ranch in the Bear Paw Mountains south of Havre. Anna graduated from Havre High School in 1947 and eventually pursued a career in Elementary Education.
She began her almost 40-year career in a one-room schoolhouse in the Bear Paw Mountains and eventually moved to town to teach at the local Elementary School. After relocating with her family to WA, she was employed by Everett Public Schools for 25 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering in her grandsons' classrooms, traveling, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and the many summers spent on the Washington Coast.
Annabelle met Philip Kenneth Bain, who was in the Royal Canadian Air Force stationed in Great Falls during the summer of 1962. They were married on February 19th, 1963, in Havre, Montana, and remained married until Ken's passing in 1994.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her loving husband, Philip K. Bain, sisters Peg Fuglevand and Lila Leeds, who passed 3 days prior, brother-in-law James Bain, and grandson Kenneth DeLisle. She is survived by her sister Beatrice Molitor (Havre), loving children William Bain (Everett), Georgia Marra (Bothell), and Virginia DeLisle (Everett). She is also survived by grandson JP DeLisle and his father Christopher DeLisle, as well as many nieces and nephews.
