Bretta Williams passed away on March 10th, 2024 at the age of 65. She was born May 3rd, 1958 to Helen and George Williams. Bretta was the youngest of 4 siblings. She is survived by her brothers Brad and Bruce, her sister Brenda, their spouses Debbie, Deborah and Klaire. Bretta’s two sons Chris and Bryne, their spouses Laurie and Erin, two grandchildren, Paige and Ashton, a great grandson Silas and four beautiful grand dogs.
Bretta grew up in Bothell, Washington and later purchased her home in Marysville, Washington.
She devoted herself to helping others in both her career and personal life. She enjoyed sewing and could make anything without a pattern often using her talent to make wedding dresses, clothes, or upholstery for her sons' projects. She loved to travel, spending time at the ocean and traveling to the Mediterranean making memories with her family and friends.
Bretta was a strong woman filled with kindness, caring and a heart of gold. She had a wonderful sense of humor which was assisted by raising two sons.
She obtained her associates degree and started work for Washington Vocational Services. She retired in May 2023 as a Program Manager after serving 32 years. She had a dedication to staff and the clients they served. It was hard to slow her down even while having treatments for cancer she continued to work.
In life Bretta was positive, creative and looking for the good. She approached cancer in the same way, taking each day, not worrying about the “what if” but looking at what was possible for the day and the future.
She used her energy to live each day to the fullest.
She is loved by the lives she touched over her lifetime.
