Chris lived a life guided by strong morals and the word of God, her virtues were an inspiration to many. She served the church with her heart and soul, supporting community outreach, active in teaching the Bible with her husband and guiding the women of the church, and constantly striving to be a shining example as a strong Christian woman to all.
She was a Camp Fire Leader for ten years, along with being a leader for each of her four daughters, she encouraged and promoted the moral and community service principles of Camp Fire for youth and families in her life, WoHeLo.
She was a teacher at Sky Valley Education Center for nine years. By developing a homeschool resource program from the ground up, she helped students and parents meet their educational goals. She also inspired many students by creating an Excursion Program, taking them to new and exciting places around Seattle for educational experiences. She expressed her creative side by starting a Cupcake Decorating class, the highlight of many students week and a highly sought after class for parents and children alike.
Chris loved family adventures with her devoted husband of 23 years, Patrick, and her four amazing daughters, Josie, Melody, Sydney, and Emily. Her favorite destinations included Disneyland, where her favorite ride was “Soarin’ over California”, Ocean Shores, where she would love to collect sand dollars on the beach, the Ellensburg Rodeo, where she would get to visit with her mother-in-law Sharon, and Leavenworth, where she would quest for treasures and trinkets in her window shopping.
Chris was a very outgoing, loving person who touched many people’s lives through her love and generosity. She was a person that you could count on, caring for those around her, showed kindness to all, always willing to lend a helping hand, and created happiness wherever she went. She will be missed by her family, her friends, her coworkers, her students, and all their families.
