Dolores is survived by daughter Joyce Huff of Mount Vernon, WA, son David Crow of Shoreline, WA, and grandson Jonathan Huff of Mount Vernon, WA.
Dolores was a gifted artist, and won an all city scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago. She also spoke fluent Spanish, and taught Spanish and art classes at Kings Garden High School.
Dolores loved children and was a respected and well-loved educator. She took great joy in giving thousands of children a strong educational foundation over 20 some years of teaching first grade in the Mukilteo School District. She also was well-loved in her church where she taught Sunday School and children's clubs. Her life exemplified Jesus' words, Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the Kingdom of God.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 11:00 a.m., at Heritage Baptist Church, located at 17931 64th Ave. W., Lynnwood, WA.
