Our loving and beautiful mom, grandma and friend went home to be with Jesus, Tuesday, January 24th. She fought a long and hard battle with cancer, never complaining, always full of grace and optimism. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and they in turn were devoted to her.
She was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and an irresistible desire for adventure and fun. She was a lady with a quiet reserve who loved to read, cook and garden. Fashionably stylish and stunningly gorgeous, she lived well, enjoyed travel, weekend trips, Mariner games and movies. She was intelligent, hardworking, amazingly strong and loved life. If anything stands out about above all the rest, it is this- she was well loved and loved well. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children Carol Boldrini (Nik), Gaile Shapiro ( Rick), Paul Drake (René), nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and her loving friend, David Stover.
We love you mom and miss your beautiful smile. Your quiet strength in the midst of physical pain was courageous. You were so brave!
We will see you again in Heaven and it is a promise that we hold onto from the word of God: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1Cor.2:9
