Throughout her remarkable life, Evelyn found joy in many things. She was an avid reader, an enthusiastic cook, and a spirited traveler who embraced new experiences with curiosity and grace. Her fondness for dogs and cats brought her much happiness.
Evelyn had a deep love of Christmas—she delighted in singing carols, decorating her home, and creating magical holiday memories for her family.
Evelyn was first married to Willy Hanske and later to Kenneth Twitchell. She is survived by her sister, Ute Asmussen; her daughters, Anita Pinkel, Astrid Hanske, Alexandra Clark, and Andrea Insley; and her grandchildren, Christoph Pinkel, Tobias Pinkel, Taryn Groth, Kyle Clark, Kira Nelson, Krystal Clark, Sean Insley and David Insley. Evelyn’s legacy will also continue through sixteen great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Throughout her life, she held a special love for Christmas, and it is fitting that she passed from this life during the season that celebrates the Incarnation. We pray that she now rests in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord.
