Gordon Andrew Jacobson, age 68, left us on November 29, 2017 in Seattle, WA. He is survived by his son Jason, daughter Jennifer, granddaughter Lahmaya, grandson Lahmont, mother Margaret and sisters, Linda, Jan and Laura. He was preceded in death by wife Linda, father James and grandson Khalid. After working on oil drilling rigs in Alaska, Gordy spent over 3 decades at Vitarich Ice Cream in Seattle, during the latter half of his career he was directly responsible for a share of the ice cream enjoyed in the Puget Sound region. An avid outdoorsman, Gordy enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing, he was also recognized as a Master Hunter by the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. Gordy was also a collector of antiques, with a knack for uncovering hidden gems. Above all, Gordy was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother, who provided a happy home and a good life for his family. Private family graveside service will be held, and a memorial for extended family and friends will be held at a later date.
