He leaves behind his Daughters Lesley (Joe) Hanson, Andrea Mitchell (Nick), Sandy (John) Beaupre, as well as his grandchildren Gavin and Ava. He is preceded in death by his wife Marge (2018), and numerous friends and family.
Joseph graduated from Ballard High School in 1962. He was drafted into the army and served in Vietnam from 1965 until 1967.
He worked for Nabisco for over 30 years, retiring in 1999.
A funeral service will be held for Joseph at 11am on 9/10/21 at St. Brendan's Church in Bothell. Graveside service with Military Honors to follow at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood. Reception to follow at Brier Park.
