Our sweet mom passed away on her 94th birthday. She was born during a blizzard in Wynot, Nebraska and passed away in Everett, WA with a life well lived from beginning to end. From Nebraska her family moved to Minnesota when she was 5 years old, to be near her beloved grandfather Anderson. It was in Minnesota that she contracted and battled poliomyelitis. She fought hard her whole life to overcome the adverse effects of polio. When she was 12 they moved to Washington state, her parents living their dream of being dairy farmers. She attended Auburn HS and was elected Tolo Queen much to her delight, it was a very fond memory for her.
After graduation she worked as a comptroller and lived with her sister Lee in Seattle. A co-worker set her up on a blind date with a young USMC sergeant returned from overseas. She married the love of her life 4 months later.
They were married for 59 years until Chuck, our dad passed away December 25, 2012. The years in between were filled with love, children, vacations, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, fun holidays and traveling the world to over 49 countries.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward & Mildred Wohlman, her husband Charles R. Booth, her sister Marva Lee Langsted and her brother Marvin Wohlman.
She is survived by her 3 children Deena Johnson, Kristine Fawbush (Bob), David Booth (Kim), her 6 grandchildren Kelly Rosser (Glen), Tracy Belova, Alex Johnson (Sarah), Mallory McDonough (Bobby), Cameron Fawbush (Chelsea) & Dylon Booth, also 10 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was a blessing to us and she will be fiercely missed.
She is now at peace with our Lord
