She married the love of her life, Orval, in Tacoma, WA in 1946. Together they moved to Everett and raised their family. She spent many years at "Scott Paper Company", retiring to travel and joining the ranks of the "snowbirds". She enjoyed frequent visits to the Angel of the Winds casino and many a meal at Katie's Kitchen.
She is survived by her daughter, Bev Bowers of Lake Stevens; son, Ernie (Julita) of Marysville; Ray (Donna) of Arlington; lots of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her BFF, Dorothy White.
