

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, August 20th, 2017 at 409 Filbert Rd., Lynnwood, Wa at the Floral Hills Chapel with Pastor John D. Green, Sr., officiating. Reception to immediately follow the service. Arrangements are made by Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills.
Rob Jezek was born in Tacoma,Wa to Robert “Bud” Emmett Jezek, Sr. and Sarah Pauline “Polly” Jezek on February 17th, 1949. He went to school at Washington State University (class of 1974 & 1975) where he met his wife, Monica A. Herrera (class of 1975). They were married on September 3rd, 1977 in Olympia, Wa. He worked as a Human Resources professional for the federal government for 30+ years in Washington, Colorado, and the Washington D.C. metro area. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He volunteered with Boy Scouts of America and previously served as the District Commissioner for the Mount Baker Area Council. Rob was recognized with the Silver Beaver Award for his volunteer efforts.
Rob is preceded in death by his father Robert “Bud” Emmett Jezek, Sr. (1994), mother Sarah Pauline “Polly” (Sloan) Jezek (2012), brother Richard “Rick” Neal Jezek (1991) and daughter Sara Michelle Jezek (1989).
Rob is survived by wife Monica Angelina Jezek; son Robert “Robbie” Emmett Jezek III and his wife Kimberly Anne; daughter Caitlin Erin Jezek; sister Karen Jo Jezek; and Grandsons Michael Robert Jezek and Oliver Emmett Jezek.
