

At the age of eighteen, prior to enlisting in the United States Army, Bob and his parents toured the United States on Indian Chief motorcycles logging in over 7,000 road miles and visiting a majority of states in the union.
During the Korean War Bob joined the war effort and served his country in the Army operating tanks and tank retrievals on the battlefield.
After the war Bob returned to live in Seattle, WA and worked for Seattle City Transit and then transitioned into the parcel delivery service where he drove small delivery trucks for the majority of his working life until retirement. Bob loved to drive and loved people and enjoyed working his entire life.
Bob had three sons from a prior marriage and on one fateful day in 1963 Bob was introduced to a beautiful dark haired banker who had two little girls. A match made in Heaven quickly occurred and the two married six months later.
Bob was a great father who loved his new wife and family so much that his two new daughters chose to be legally adopted by him and be Kempers.
Bob and Lois celebrated a wonderful life together with blended family and were married for fifty-six years.
Bob and Lois gave their hearts to Jesus Christ in 1968 and faithfully attended North Seattle Alliance church for fifty years. Bob and Lois have been good stewards and faithful witnesses of God's love and grace to their family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife Lois, sons; Alan & wife Trish, Don & wife Leyde, Billy & wife Caron, daughters; Gail & husband Don, Wendy & husband Andrew, daughter-in-law Kathy (husband Gary deceased) twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
