

Agnes Louise Hagler Riley, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 18, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
Agnes was born in Clio, AL to the late James V. and Mary Carpenter Hagler. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 58 years, Thomas Veston Riley, sister, Wilma McLendon and brother, James D. Hagler. Agnes was a member of Friendship Baptist Church at Lake Sinclair. Agnes was a former member of Macon Motorboat Club and worked for many years at Macon Centreplex as an usher, box office worker, and parking attendant. She also worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Pet Diary and finished out her working career as an office assistant at Boeing Company. Agnes was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved to dog-sit for Chloe. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Danny) Spires, two grandchildren who called her “Granny”, Emily (David) Wooley and Danny (Amber) Spires, four great grandchildren, Ella Kate Wooley, Maggie Wooley, Ryleigh Morris and Carter Spires, sister, JoAn Watford and several nieces and nephews.
