Alice Louise Ryle NeSmith, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park with the Rev. Jimmy Corbitt officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 365 Pea Ridge Road, Juliette, GA 31046.
Alice was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Vernon Balkcom Ryle, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Asbell Ryle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Leon NeSmith and her son, Leslie NeSmith. She was a graduate of Miller High School and was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a production manager. Alice was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Young @ Hearts Sunday School Class and the Rejoicing Hearts. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister-in-law, and a dear friend.
She is survived by her son, Craig NeSmith of Macon, daughter, Judy NeSmith Hastings of Macon, grandchildren, Matthew (Theresa) Hastings of Denver CO, Sarah (Clay) Williams of Louisville, KY, Catherine (Chris) Day of Hillsboro, GA, great grandchildren, Jackson and Abby Hastings, Morgan Day, Haddon, John, Lottie and Nathaniel Williams, sister-in-law, Earline Reeves, several nieces and nephews, and dear friend, Melba Cantrell.
