

WARNER ROBINS – Anita Barnes Fisher Baggett, 61, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in a local hospital. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Rodney Queen and Dr. Donnie Sutton will officiate. The family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Anita to Central Fellowship Baptist Church, 8460 Hawkinsville Road, Macon, GA 31216 or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Chapter, 1117 Perimeter Center, West, Suite E-101, Atlanta, GA 30338.
Nita was preceded in death by her first husband, the Rev. Mike Fisher and by her parents, William Joseph Barnes and Ernestine Saxon Barnes. She was born in Macon and attended Brewton-Parker College. She was a devoted homemaker and was a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle Baggett of Warner Robins; her children, Kathy Fisher (Bruce) Bailey of Perry and Jonathan (Ginger) Fisher of Byron; her sister, Sheila (Gary) Loeffler of Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren and a great grandson and two nephews.
