Barbara Ruth Johnson Bass, 79, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Flint River Memory Care. Graveside services will be private at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Dziudal officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church, 5925 Price Road, Macon GA 31220.
Mrs. Bass was born in Macon, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bass. Mrs. Bass was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, Keenagers Senior Adult, and the WMU. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her five sons; Dana (Karen) Bass of Gray, Mark (Nancy) Bass of Gray, Don Bass of KY, Daryl (Donna) Bass of Gray and Dell (Elaine) Bass of Macon, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and brother, John Johnson.
