Our precious Belinda Michelle Morris, age 60 years, is resting in the arms of Jesus after an extended illness from Alzheimer's. She passed away on April 19, 2025 at Brightmoor Hospice In Care in Macon, Georgia. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1101 Dunbar Road, Warner Robins, GA, with Rev Tim Sizemore officiating. The family will meet friends from 3:00 PM till service time at the church. Burial will be on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Park, Charleston, South Carolina.

Belinda was the youngest of four children born to Max Hubert Morris and Wilma Louise Morris. She was born in Honolulu Hawaii on March 15, 1965. As a Special Needs child with Downs Syndrome, Belinda attended school in Goose Creek, South Carolina and East McDowell Junior High School in Marion, North Carolina. She attended the Foothills Center for adults with disabilities in Marion, North Carolina for 20 years. In 2008, she moved to Warner Robins, Georgia with her mother. She has been residing with her brother Avery Morris and wife Judy since 2013.
She began attending Happy Hour Service Center in Warner Robins, Georgia in 2008 until March of 2020 and continued with Community Living Services from Happy Hour at home until 2023. She loved dogs and swimming and playing her organ. She attended Camp Hope in Clemson, South Carolina for two weeks every summer for forty years; she participated in Special Olympics bowling. Belinda was very loving, always had a smile and a hug and she never met a stranger.
Belinda accepted Christ and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Old Fort, North Carolina. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Miss Morris was preceded in death by her parents Max Morris and Wilma Morris and a sister Beverly Morris. Survivors include two brothers, Michael Lee Morris and wife Cindy of Grovetown, Georgia, and Avery Monroe Morris and wife Judy of Byron, Georgia.
A special thank you to her niece, Lynn Teague, Enoree, South Carolina; Regina Gattie, Perry, Georgia and Carrie Grace, Byron, Georgia for years of assistance and lovingly caring for Belinda.
