Macon – Benjamin “Bud” Robinson, 70, passed away May 25, 2010. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, May 27, 2010 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Grady Mimbs will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
Mr. Robinson was born in Laurens County and was the son of the late Edwin C. Robinson. He was owner and operator of Robinson Plumbing and Mechanical Inc. and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union #472 and 72. He was also a member of Woodman of the World and Porterfield Baptist Church.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife Darlene Allen Robinson; three daughters, Melinda Stokes, Paula Steinberg, and Karen (Gary) Minter all of Macon; mother, Carolyn Murphy of Dublin; sister Ann Webb of Conyers; six grandchildren, Ryan, Chris, Katie, Jordan, Reese, and Bayly.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
