Macon- Bertha Stilwell passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at a local nursing home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the chapel of Macon Memorial Park with the Dr. Grady Carter officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stilwell was the widow of Charles Albert Stilwell, she was born Hapeville, Georgia to the late Willie Mae Brand and Samuel Edward Long. She was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and a loyal servant to the Church. Mrs. Stilwell also was a wedding caterer and a member of the Federated Garden Club of Macon
Mrs. Stilwell is survived by her 2 sons: Dr. C.A. (Terri) Stilwell, Jr. of Franklin, Tennessee and Kevin (Holly) Stilwell of Lizella, five grandchildren, great-grandson and nieces and nephews
