Beverly (Bev) Moss Fulcher

Beverly “Bev” Moss Fulcher, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 25, 2011 surrounded by his family. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Tim Long and Pastor Richard Jelley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Evangelical Church, Youth Land Development, 3601 Fulton Mill Road, Macon GA 31216 or Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.

Mr. Fulcher was born in Fort Valley to the late Dilmus J. and Ollie Moss Fulcher. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Keebler Cookie Company. Mr. Fulcher coached at Macon Little League and helped start the Western Little League and was active in coaching at Crawford Co. Dixie Youth Little League. He was a former member of the Lions Club of Roberta. Mr. Fulcher was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and brother. He was his grandchildren’s “Hero”.

He is survived by his devoted wife of fifty eight years, Coleen H. Fulcher of Lizella, daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bob Middlebrooks of Lizella, son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Mickie Fulcher of Lizella, grandchildren, Lani (Kyle) Moody of Milledgeville, Lori (Tyler) East of Macon, Michael (Kerri) Middlebrooks of Jacksonville, NC, Kyle Middlebrooks of Macon, Cam Fulcher of Tocca Falls, Kristen Middlebrooks of Lizella, great grandchildren, Kylie Moody of Milledgeville, Connor and Jackson Middlebrooks of Jacksonville, NC, brother, Skeeter (Betty) Collins of Cordele, sisters, Gerry (James) Rigdon of Cordele, June Cross of Albany, and Cindy Collins of Houston,TX and several nieces and nephews.
