

Bonnie Patricia Baxley Mann, 81, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 5, 2026, in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Rev. Joe McDaniel and Rev. Greg Pope will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon 31204.
Bonnie was born in Toomsboro, Georgia, the daughter of the late Emma Maye Cherry and Heulin Baxley and was preceded in death by a son, Alan Mann. She was a beloved and devoted wife to Edward Leroy “Roy” Mann, Jr. for 59 years. Bonnie was a graduate of McEvoy High School in Macon. As a teenager, she attended Houston Heights Baptist Church, where she met her husband and was married there in 1966.
After Roy completed his military service in 1970, they moved to Augusta, Georgia, where they remained for 24 years. They were longtime members of Warren Baptist Church. While there, Bonnie started the “Mother’s Day Out” program, which grew from 20 children to over 120. They moved to Macon in 1994 and attended Tattnall Square Baptist Church, where she became the administrative assistant to the pastor for approximately 24 years before retiring. She was currently an active member of Vineville Baptist Church in Macon.
Bonnie was a cherished and loyal wife and loving mother, a faithful and strong believer in Christ as the answer for all things. She loved country music and southern gospel music, was a devoted fan of her Georgia Bulldogs, and enjoyed playing the piano. Bonnie also loved writing about life experiences, which she filed in a notebook titled “Bits and Pieces”.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Mann; son, Mike Mann; brother, Jim Cherry (Marcia); sister, Deborah Cherry; and several nieces and nephews.
Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
