Brenda S. Wasden, 71, of Dublin, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 5, 2025, after a brief illness. A celebration of her life will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Joe Williams will officiate. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Brenda was born in Macon, GA to the late Robert Lee and Edna Carpenter Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Wasden. Brenda grew up at Lakeside Park in Macon where her dad was the manager. She attended Lasseter High School through the eleventh grade before the name changed to Northeast High School, where she was a member of the first graduating class in 1972. Brenda was a member of Parkway Assembly of God Church, and she enjoyed crafting and quilting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Survivors include her daughter, Erin Harden (Derek); grandchildren: Mia, Micah, Chloe, Anna, Eden, Judah, Isaiah and Gideon; sister, Lynn (Roger) Hawke of Jones County and one niece and one nephew, three great nieces and one great nephew.
