Carolyn Nancy Shupe Amata, 76, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park with Pastor Jason Dickerson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
Nancy was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Elmer L. and Carolyn Kitchens Shupe. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bubba Shupe. She worked as a cashier at Walthall in Bolingbroke. Carolyn was a devoted and loving sister, aunt, and cousin.
She is survived by her brothers, Carl (Janet) Shupe, Jimmy Lee (Carol) Shupe, cousins, Jerry (Lisa) Smith, Sherry (Al) Johnson and Roy (Jean) Smith and several nieces and nephews.
