Carolyn Massey “Becky” Burns, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 8, 2017. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Lamar Brown officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201.
Becky was born in Milledgeville, GA to the late Charles W. Massey Sr. and Margaret B. Massey. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Wallace Burns. She was retired from Keebler Company after twenty five years of service. Becky was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed watching birds and “Gone with the Wind”.
She is survived by her three sons; Wallace Leon Burns, Jr. of Macon, Travis (Patricia) Burns of Macon, Tracy (Kathy) Burns of Crawford, Co., grandchildren; Tyler, Derek, Bridget, Danielle, and Matthew, great grandchildren; Emma and Holly, two brothers; Charles (Patsy) Massey Jr. of Fort Valley, Steve (Vickye) Massey of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
