

Eatonton, GA- Charles W. Knight, 77, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. Ronnie Griffin will officiate. The family will meet friends from 11 a.m. to service time on Friday at the funeral home. They suggest that those who wish may make memorial contributions to Georgia Cancer Center, 624 W. MLK Road, Milledgeville 31061 or to Shurlington Church of the Nazarene, 2160 Shurling Drive, Macon 31211.
Mr. Knight, son of the late Monroe W. Knight and Alice Elizabeth Lamb Knight, was born in Rentz, GA and served with the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a lift driver retired from Robins Air Force Base after twenty years and was a member of Shurlington Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Marie Knight Eady in 2007 and by his brother, Wayne Knight.
Survivors include those he loved most, his wife, Monteen Purser Knight of Eatonton; his son, Terry Knight of Cochran; his grandchildren, Tiffany (T.K.) White of Fitzgerald, Levi (Renee) Knight of Calvary, Autumn Eady of Gordon and Morgan Eady of Macon; two great granddaughters; his sister, Zellie Ann Rooks of Dublin; his brothers, James M. Knight of Eastman and Ronnie R. Knight of Springfield; five nephews and five nieces.
