Clifford (Cliff) O’Neal Hagerman of Chicago, IL was lovingly greeted by his Lord and Savior, his mother and departed ones on February 1. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 7, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Christ with Reverends Stanley Roberts and Julie Long officiating. The church will Facebook Livestream the service on their page, www.facebook.com/fbcxmacon. The family will greet friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
Born in Macon on February 3, 1982, Cliff attended Tattnall Square Academy and Mercer University. An accomplished mixed martial arts instructor specializing in Jujitsu, he was a talented musician, self-taught on bass, drums and lead guitar. Cliff never met a stranger. Wherever he went, his gigantic heart, concern for others and laughter filled the room. Above all else, Cliff loved spending time with his children. He was also well-known for continually bringing home strays (and wild animals) as a young child and well into adulthood.
Cliff is predeceased by his mother Beth Ross Hagerman, his grandfather Robert Bruce Carstarphen and grandmother Grace Irby Carstarphen. He is survived by his daughters Aerith, MacKenzie, Riley and son Holden; father Dennis James Hagerman (Dee); brother James Ross (Annel); nieces Addison and Lily; nephew Townsend and many cousins who adored him.
He was loved by so many and he will be incredibly missed.
