Colen Hulett, 72, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Gary Walker officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Hulett was born in Milan, Georgia to the late Morris J. and Mattie Lou Cooper Hulett. He was employed by Tire Distributors Inc. until he retired. His music was his life and he believed that music could change the world. He treated everyone like family and put their needs before his own. His spirit will continue to inspire us all.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Spivey of Byron, grandchildren, Brian Peavy, Dwayne Spivey and Melissa Crooms, great grandchildren, Ayla Peavy and Brayden Crooms.
