Constance J. Bicht, 87, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 1, 2015. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Lanning officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201 or Liberty United Methodist Church, 6511 Houston Road, Macon GA 31216.
Mrs. Bicht was born in Wilkinsburg, PA to the late Henry D. and Zelda F. Claeren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin E. Bicht. She was a member of Ingleside United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Bicht was retired from AT&T and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her children; Claudia Word of Macon, Deborah (Joey) Seguin of Stone Mountain, GA, Jeffrey Bicht of Macon, Cassy (Jim) Workman of Macon, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and brother, Wayne Claeren of Jacksonville, AL.
