MACON- Corbett Harley " Bud"Lambert, Jr., 79, passed away Monday at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Towson officiating. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM till service time at the funeral home. Dr. Lambert was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Marie Post Lambert and Corbett Harley Lambert, Sr. Dr. Lambert was a retired dentist working for the State of Georgia after 28 years. He was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church, the Goodtimers Senior Group and The Grace Bible Sunday School Class. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Atlanta Braves Fan and enjoyed gardening. He was a past member of the Optimist Club. He was preceded in death by one sister: Shirley Harrison.
Dr. Lambert is survived by his wife of 58 years: Bonnie Barth Lambert of Macon; son: Scott (Katrina) Lambert of Fairhope, Alabama; Daughter: Lori (Tommy) Lyles of Bolingbroke; Grandchildren: Logan Scott Lambert, Courtney Ann Lambert and Zachary Lyles; Siblings: Connie Boyd, Janet Kimmell, Alene Cansler, Jerry Lambert, Don Lambert and Larry Lambert.
