David Pate Savelle, 66, passed away on Saturday morning at Pine Pointe Hospice. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Clance officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Chapel Ministry, 697 Carl Sutton Road, Lizella GA 31052 or Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.
David was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Chester R. Savelle and Ruth Mae Pate. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Spear Savelle and his brother, Wayne Pate Savelle. David was a member of Faith Chapel Ministry and loved working at Friendly Gus in Dublin, Georgia. He enjoyed golfing and playing the guitar with his friends Chris and Norman.
He is survived by his aunt, Willa Savelle, many cousins, friends Chris and Norman, his church family and his caregivers, Denise and Charles Clance.
