Diane Roberson Rutledge, 76, of Macon, Georgia went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 2, 2025. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon. Reverend Justin Wright will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Nat and Carrie Lou Blankenship Roberson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lonnie Rutledge Sr. and a son, William Lonnie Rutledge Jr.
She was a member of Centerville Community Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Henry Rutledge (Victoria), Tammy Connell (Clay); daughter in law; Sheila Rutledge, Grandchildren, William Lonnie Rutledge III,Tiffany Rutledge, Kaleigh Pounds (Stefan), Cole Connell (Kylie), Sabrina Rutledge, and Chase Connell, great grandchildren, Paisley Pounds, Lily Connell, and Aubrey Pounds on the way, sister: Dorothy Schell, several nieces and nephews.
