Dorothy Inez Williams, 94, formerly of Sharon Drive, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with James Williams and the Rev. Buddy Horne officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 886 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201.
Mrs. Williams was born in Chester, Georgia to the late Johnnie and Donnie Mullis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Carlton Williams. After attending Crandall Business College she worked at the offices of the S&S Cafeteria and later Snelling and Snelling Personnel Agency. She was a long time member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church and later Tattnall Square Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws; Earnest Carlton (Nany) Williams, Jr. of Dublin, GA, James Williams of Sanford, NC and Robert (Paula) Williams of Conyers, GA, eight grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
