Douglas "Doug" Harold Malloy

SFC Douglas Harold Malloy United States Army, Retired, Macon, Georgia, September 18, 1946 - Friday, March 3, 2017 surrounded by his loving family as he passed over into the hands of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There will be a gathering of family and close friends at the Malloy residence, Wednesday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. The family will greet friends Thursday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11:00am with Military Honors. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm Friday in Macon at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity with Pastor Laird Van Gorder officiating. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth C. Malloy of Macon Georgia; sisters, Theresa Malloy and Rosemary Malloy of Southbridge Massachusetts and Eileen Cloutier of Box Springs, GA; children, Eva C. Dixon, MSG Robert J. Malloy United States Army Retired, Michael A. Malloy, Dino L. Malloy, Tammy L. Duquette; grandchildren, Steven C. Dixon United States Marine Corps., John E. Dixon-Rowland, Hannah Dixon, Lauren and Scott Malloy, Amber Steed, Autumn King, Avery Malloy, Sarah and Dino Malloy, Brandon Cooper, Jonathan Roberts, Adrien Turner and Anna and Jackson Duquette; and great grandchildren, Cooper and Connor Dixon, Jenna, Jaelynn, and Johannah Dixon-Rowland, Ivie Rae Miller, Rowan Wools and Ella King.
