Elizabeth "Nanny" Moseley

WARNER ROBINS – Elizabeth “Beth” Moseley, 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at a local hospital. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. Mark Hudgins will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. While flowers are acceptable, memorial contributions may be made to Ingleside Baptist Church Building Fund, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon 31210.

Mrs. Moseley, wife of the late John Ronald Moseley, was born in Thomasville the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Leaptrot. She had lived in Macon a number of years and was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Fidelis Sunday Class and the Inglelites Handbell Ensemble. Mrs. Moseley was a past president of Pharmaceutical Auxiliary and was the mother of the late Jeanie Moseley Patterson.

Known to everyone as “Nanny,” she served as number one cheerleader to her grandchildren and her family knew her to be the very best mom and “Nanny” ever given to anyone. She is survived by the family she adored, her daughters, Vianne M. Slentz (Allen) of Warner Robins and Carol M. Ervay (Michael) of Kernersville, NC; her grandchildren, Dan’l (Heather) Moulton of Bluffton, SC, Matt (Catherine) Moulton of Kathleen, Oliva (Cecil) Morris of Walnut Cove, NC, Carissa Ervay of Warner Robins, Michelle Ervay of Kernersville, NC, Johnny Lancaster, Deri (Thelston) Robertson and Dee (Frank) Baker; her great grandchildren, Taylor Moulton of Walnut Cove, NC, Sadie, Miranda, Zachary Moulton of Bluffton, SC and Mattilyn Moulton of Kathleen and her nephew, Jerry (Sarah) Ellington.

The family wishes to express their special thanks to the staff of Houston County Critical Care Unit and Regency Hospital for their compassionate and excellent care given to Mrs. Moseley.
