Emory Scott Hudson, Sr., 72, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Aaron Burgess officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Masonic Home of Georgia, P.O. Box 4183, Macon, 31208.
Emory was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Marshall and Dorothy Bozeman Hudson. He was a life insurance salesman and a member of the Baptist faith. Emory was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Barbara Conley Hudson; children, Emory Scott Hudson, Jr. (Camille), Angie White (Ricky Burgess) and Kristi Hudson; grandchildren, Bryant, Amber, Maeghan, Jessica, Kaylee and Drew; great granddaughter, Carley; and brother, Billy Hudson (Sally).
