Eric W. Sweat, 69, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
Eric was born in Oconee, Georgia to the late Marcus E. and Evelyn Hall Sweat. He was retired from Woody Lumber Company as an equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Sandra Berkner Sweat of Toomsboro, children, Erica Francis, Preston Sweat and Rhonda Sue Harris, three grandchildren, siblings, Richard Gary Sweat, Delores Sweat and Marcus E. Sweat, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
