Eunice Anglin Balkcom, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Bobo officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure, 277 MLK Jr. Blvd., W., Suite 101, Macon GA 31201.
Mrs. Balkcom was born in Vienna, GA to the Frank B. and Rena Bush Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert F. Balkcom, Sr. and Cicero D. Anglin and daughter-in-law, Cynthia “Cindy” Balkcom. She was of the Baptist faith and was a hair stylist for many years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her son, Albert “Al” Balkcom of Macon, two grandsons; Jason (Sabrina) Balkcom of Lawrenceville, Kevin (Joanna) Balkcom of Forsyth, granddaughter, JoAndra Wallace of MS., five great grandchildren; Isabella, Brady, Wade, Emma and Taylor, one sister; Leone Richardson of Savannah, and nieces and nephews.
