Frank Mike Odum

Mike Odum, 59, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Tommie Wilder officiating. The family will meet friends on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Odum was born in Macon, Georgia to the late C.F. Odum. He was preceded in death by his son, David Michael Odum, brothers, Gray Hunnicutt and Jerry Hunnicutt and father-in-law, Lee Meadows. Mr. Odum served in the United States Army during 1971 - 1973. He was retired deputy flight director from Robins Air Force Base after thirty three years of service. Mike received a reward for serving, 574 Structural Repair Supervisor Squadron, from October 1, 1979 to April 30, 2012. He was a member of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty one years, Deborah L. Odum of Byron, mother, Mary Peggy Odum of Tyrone, sister, Diane (Garry) Bartlett of Tyrone, brother, Wayne (Danielle) Odum of Gray, mother-in-law, Mary Lee Meadows of Bryon, brother-in-law, Danny (Patricia) Meadows of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
