George "Gene" Eugene Adams

George Eugene “Gene” Adams, 83, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum with Rev. Jerry Akin officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201.

Gene was born in Thomasville, GA to the late Charles Nathan and Mabel DeVane Adams. He graduated from Lanier High School in 1953 and served in the United States National Guard. Gene was owner and operator of Adams Store Equipment. He was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Chuck (Dawn) Adams of Warner Robins, daughter, Connie Adams-Moore of Milledgeville, four grandchildren, Andrew Gay, Adam Schulze, Logan Adams and Shannon Dominy, three great grandchildren, sister, Helen Adams of Macon, brother, Claude Adams of Cleveland, GA, three nieces and one nephew.
