Deacon George Hillery Mathis passed away August 1, 2024, at a local the Georgia War Veterans' Home, in Milledgeville. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Snow's at Macon Memorial Park. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, August 16, 2024, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Macon with interment following at Macon Memorial Park.
