George Monroe Wiley, 76, of Monroe Hills, passed away, Friday, December 30, 2022, at his residence. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm – 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 2:00pm, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Philip Blinson officiating.
Mr. Wiley was born May 7, 1946, in Marianna, Florida to the late John Henry Wiley and Trudy Colleitte Wiley. He was a retired pipefitter for Macon Water Authority and was preceded in death by his first wife: Katherine Cooper Wiley, second wife: Helen Sandefer, daughter: Margaret Wiley, brother: John T. Wiley, and a sister: Leila Mae Smith.
Mr. Wiley is survived his sons: George B. Wiley and Jonathan Wiley; sister: Bertha Cravey and by several nieces and nephews.
