Gloria Wilson Duffell, 84, of Gray, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The family will greet friends from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, Monday, January 27, 2025, at Snow's at Macon Memorial Park. A celebration of her life will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Darnell officiating. Interment will be at Macon Memorial Park.
Mrs. Duffell was born October 10, 1940, in Abbeville, Georgia to the late Bud Wilson and Dorothy Miller Wilson. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Gray, where she sang in the church choir. Mrs Duffell loved to tend to her garden, cook and take care of her animals. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dr. Richard Duffell, Jr.; daughter: Wendy Nunnemaker; brother: Tommy Day Wilson and a sister: Betty Wilson.
Mrs. Duffell is survived by her grandchildren: Austin Nunnemaker, Chandler Nunnemaker and Miranda Nunnemaker; great-grandson: Fletcher Nunnemaker; sisters: Louise Zihlmann and Clara Bramlett (Bill); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the staff of Sunrise at Webb Gin Memory Care Unit for their compassionate care of Mrs. Duffell in her final days.
