Lizella – Harry William ‘Bill” Lord passed away February 14, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Friday February 17, 2012 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Rev. Kenny Peters , Rev. Ricky Tidwell and Chaplain Daniel Varga will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Mr. Lord was born in Laurens County to the late William Hubert Lord. He was retired from Blue Bird Body Company and was preceded in death by a son Tony Lord of Lizella. Mr. Lord was also a member of Fellowship Church in Lizella.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years Kay Lord of Lizella; mother, Martha Lord of Macon; brothers, Hugh (Polly) of Macon and F.I. (Lenda) Lord of Texas; sister, Dot (Bill) Jones of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Ryan A. Lord, Brandon N. Lord, Breanna Kae Lord, Trina Amina Lord.
