MACON - Harvey "Phil" Rickerson, 71, died Monday, October 17, 2011 in a local hospital. Memorial services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends after the graveside service.
Mr. Rickerson, son of the late Leila Smith Rickerson, was born in Macon, GA. He graduated from Lanier High School in 1958, and retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Rickerson umpired baseball and was preceded in death by his sister, Mary R. Proctor.
Mr. Rickerson is survived by his daughters, Amy (Todd) Pendley, of Lizella, GA; Kay (Travis) James, of Warner Robins, GA; three grandchildren, Rachel Pendley, Hannah and Joshua James.
