Helen Hartley Johnson Henry, 94, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00pm in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. William Richard Kremer officiating. The family will greet friends Tuesday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, 31204.
Mrs. Henry was born in Moran, Georgia to the late William “Cliff” and Nellie Dixon Hartley and was preceded in death by her husbands, William H. Johnson and Ben L. Henry and siblings, Martha Hood, Billy Hartley and Larry Hartley. She retired from the Macon Bibb County Health Department and was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and the Grace Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her son, Ken Johnson; step granddaughter, Angie O’Neal; step great granddaughter, Kelsey O’Neal; step great great grandson, Kylan O’Neal; and several close nieces, nephews and friends.
